The Joint War Committee (JWC) has updated its Listed Areas for 2026, designating specific geographic zones where additional war risk insurance premiums apply. Shipowners and operators transiting these areas must secure separate war risk coverage beyond standard hull and P&I policies.
Important Notice
Vessels entering JWC Listed Areas without appropriate war risk coverage may face significant coverage gaps. Standard marine insurance policies exclude war risks in these designated zones. Contact us immediately if your vessel is scheduled to transit any listed area.
